Important guidelines to follow when placing an order for dissertation and habilitation thesis printing and binding

The ISBN, in any of its forms, as well as the phrase „Published by the University of Tomáš Bata in Zlín”, must not be included in the dissertation or habilitation thesis. Therefore, please delete the imprint (last page) and the generated ISBN from the template of your thesis. Thank you for not including the information as instructed. However, please note that the information mentioned above is to be included in the doctoral thesis summary.

Cover

• The university press has contributed to the production of the cover of your thesis, therefore, it is not necessary to attach the exact design and format.

Printing and Binding

• It is required to email all the thesis data to the following address nakladatelstvi@utb.cz.
• Attach the revised and approved final form of the thesis as a PDF file. Please do not adjust the file to A5 or B5 format, as this will be done automatically before printing.
• If you wish to print a selection of colour pages, please make a list of the required page numbers (e.g., 6; 12–25; 80–122). In this case, the higher price for printing in colour applies, as listed in the price list below.
• If a selection of colour pages is not further specified, or there is no list attached, it is assumed that printing in colour of all the colour pages of the document is requested.
• If printing in black and white is required, it needs to be specified in the email.
• Please, include the number of copies of the documents that are to be printed and bound.

Pricelist

• 1 page, black and white: 1.50 CZK including VAT
• 1 page, color printing: 8.50 CZK including VAT (when printing in colour all colour pages of the document)
• 1 page, color printing: 15 CZK including VAT (when printing a selection of pages in colour as requested by a clien)
• cover including binding: 80 CZK including VAT (the price may vary according to the number of copies ordered)

Total price and payment details are emailed to the client.

Delivery of the finished dissertation and habilitation thesis

• The order is valid as soon as the payment is received and it is ready for collection from the U13 building in 3–5 working days.
• If necessary, it is possible to deliver printed and bound documents to the authorised staff of individual faculties.

• It is possible to pay in cash at the library shop or in the U13/166 office, or by bank transfer to the university account. When paying by transfer, the variable symbol and the name of the client are to be listed in the note to recipient (for identification purposes), as listed below:
